A New Song!

A NEW SONG.            And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;     And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. Rev.5:9,10      Their are lots of songs that are very good but this song is very special and we cannot sing this song yet but someday soon we will sing this song. The song is very special because in order for this song to be sung, Jesus had to shed his blood at Calvary, the blood of the innocent given for the redemption of the guilty. This was the greatest sacrifice the world has ever seen. The Lord Jesus set the pattern that faithful men and women have followed in every generation every since. The Apostles all shed their blood for this very special cause and many more have risked all and freely laid down their lives to carry the good news to those who were bound in sin. We cannot sing the song until there is a witness in every kindred, and people, and nation. Thanks be to God their will be faithful men and women in this generation that will go and carry out this marvelous plan of God. It appears we are getting real close to reaching all the tribes, let us not grow weary in well doing.      Who will these be that God will use in this generation? It will be those who      have ears to hear the call of God and will step out in faith to obey. Paul said that he received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith. Who will be the apostles of this generation? Those who heed to the call; Jesus said many are called but few are chosen. Paul told the Roman believers that they also were the called of Jesus Christ. Please read Ro.1:5,6 The word apostle means sent one; in Ro.10:14 we read; “ How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!”

Who will these be that God will choose to proclaim the Glorious Gospel to the un -reached. Will it be those, who are highly educated and have degrees, or those who are obviously gifted? The strong ones who are able to endure all the hardships, or the brave that do not fear? The wise people who can learn languages easily? The people from countries that have a lot of money and abundance of resources? No those are not the ones God will send. He is looking for those who will bring glory to him not to themselves. In first Corinthians Paul explains. “The foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh not many mighty, not many noble, are called.  But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.” I Cor.1: 25-29 Do you qualify? If you know that you are weak andnot  wise, you can trust God for his grace to be revealed in you and bring glory to his name. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you have, because Jesus is calling us to deny ourselves and take up the cross and follow him. It doesn’t matter who you are because, we must be made all things to all men. When you have denied yourself it is much easier to adapt to strange cultures and customs.  Paul said: “To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.” I Cor.9:22 We should never depart from the truth or lower the standard of righteousness. We relate to them in their weakness but we cannot lower the standard of morals  or holiness. We can wear a pig tail or a long gown and eat what they eat and sleep in a hut or an igloo but we cannot partake of their sins. Jesus took on himself the likeness of sin full flesh. (Read Ro.8:3) But did so with out ever sinning once. The message we take is the Word of God it cannot be compromised. Don’t prepare a bible that ignorant people can read but prepare the ignorant to read the undiluted word of God. We cannot compromise the truth because it is the truth that will set them free. See John 8:31,32 God gave us the inspired word of God, and he preserved it pure unto this day. It is forever settled in heaven.Ps.119:89 If you love God and you lay down your life for the sake of the gospel, and do everything you can to get this blessing to the last tribe on the earth. Then you will truly enjoy this NEW SONG.
